Scott is a third generation Partner in MetzWood Harder and is President and Manager of the Personal Lines Department. He holds the CPCU and CIC Insurance designations. Scott has served on the National Advisory Boards for Travelers, Encompass and Aetna as well as several NY State Boards. In the community, Scott serves on the County Economic Development Board and the County Fair Board. He has been a past president of the County Chamber as well as various other groups. A graduate of Washington & Lee, Scott’s passion is golf and golf architecture.

Gary is a Partner, Vice-President of MetzWood and Manager of the Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits Departments and holds the CPCU and CIC Insurance designations. Gary has served on various committees and advisory boards in the insurance industry. As a volunteer, he is an active member of several not for profits, and enjoys working with the OK 5K race committee. Gary attended St Lawrence, and is a life-long resident of Columbia County with 35 years experience at MetzWood Harder.

Jeff Knight is a Partner and Vice-President of MetzWood, with a primary responsibility for Personal Lines and Life Insurance. He has earned the Professional designations CLU, ChFC and CIC. Jeff serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and the Ghent Playhouse, and has been active in many community activities, as well as serving on several insurance company Agent Advisory Councils. A graduate of Northeastern, Jeff lives in Canaan with his wife and three children.
