Meet Mixed Breed Brewing from Guilderland, New York! This up-and-coming brewery opened in April of 2021 with six delicious beers on draft. The company is owned by five men, including head brewer Guy Bucey, a Guilderland furniture manufacturer. Mixed Breed’s name stems from Bucey’s history as a military veteran during his time in Iraq when a few members of his troop were named a “mixed breed” or “mixed bag”. His time in the service also led to Bucey’s growing love for craft brews while traveling around the world.
Opening a brewery was just another feat in Bucey’s impressive history.
