Financial Services Sales & Service Advisor

MetzWood Insurance is growing our team!  We are looking for a positive team-player to join our Financial Services Department as a Licensed Sales & Service Advisor.  This person will provide excellent customer service to clients in our agency’s Financial Services Department clients.  Additionally, this role is responsible for converting inbound opportunities for new prospects and current clients who do not currently have any Financial Services products through MetzWood.

The Financial Services Department at MetzWood is responsible for providing important coverages like Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Long Term Care Insurance.  These important coverages can often be overlooked because they are not required like some other insurance policies.

This position requires an ability to learn quickly, master multi-tasking, communicate effectively over email and in-person, and thrive in a team environment. The Sales and Service Advisor role also requires an ability to gather information using a consultative sales approach, and to understand Insurance Company placement and “appetite”.  This role necessitates a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to quickly learn our Agency Management System software.
